Dentist
Wayne graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1986. After working as a locum dentist to travel, he opened his private practice in 1990 serving his community until 2017. Following a move to Wellington, New Zealand, he joined a national dental corporation. Recently, Wayne related to Melbourne to be closer to family, including one of his daughter and her family.
Wayne is passionate about fostering strong relationships with his patients and helping them achieve the smiles they deserve. He believes in continuous growth and learning, regularly attending local and international dental courses and conferences to stay at the forefront of the field.
Outside of dentistry, Wayne loves travelling, experiencing local cuisine and spending time with family – especially his grandchildren. While his hobbies of gardening, computing and fishing have taken a back seat as he settles into his new role at Ekera Dental, he looks forward to finding time for them again in the future.
